is a process where a hemodialysis machine functions as an artificial kidney in place of the patient’s normal kidney in order to remove certain biologic waste products. The hemodialysis unit has 10 dialysis machines
allowing nephrologists to offer the best possible treatment to their patients with acute or chronic renal failure.
It is open Monday to Saturday 6:00am-6:00pm. Nursing staff are on call to provide emergency treatment. Each treatment takes 3 to 4 hours.Known to be the pioneer in affordable hemodialysis treatment in the country starting its mission to help those in need since 1991, UDMC has maintained it up to the present time –cheaper than that of a government owned charity hospital in Manila. What is good about us is that we publish the rates of our services which include Professional Fees making it easy for patients to prepare for the necessary amount to get the medical treatment they need. There are NO hidden charges. All you get is genuine service and real information to avail of the necessary treatment you need at the earliest possible time. We value time because in medicine, time is of the essence.
The treatment for Low Flux is Php 2,999.00 / Senior Citizen Php 2,399.00 (inclusive of professional fee) and for High Flux is Php 3,749.00 / Senior Citizen PHP 2,999.00 (inclusive of professional fee) while succeeding treatment is only Php 2,200.00 / Senior Citizen Php 1,760.00 (inclusive of professional fee) as compared to Php 9,360.00 i

This is a specialized section that provides intensive care to patients having life threatening conditions. Advanced bedside and central monitors allow the team manning the section to make continuous and simultaneous observations needed by the patient. The section is also equipped with recordings of vital organ functions including the use of the Non-invasive Cardiac monitor and Hemodynamic machine. Every patient confined receives complete attention from a team of excellent nurses and physicians highly skilled in Advanced Cardiac Life Support care. UDMC is one of three hospitals that uses hemodynamic machine.HEMODYNAMIC MACHINE
/NON-INVASIVE CARDIAC MONITOR
UDMC uses CSM-3000 NON-invasive Cardiac Function Monitor
. It is on top
of its category. It has a part of hemodynamic function parameters using Impedance Cardiography (ICG)/Thoracic Electrical Bioimpedance (TEB) Non invasive Monitoring Hemodynamic parameters. It is being used in non-invasive blood pressure and is sensitive in detecting arrhythmia, blood pressure change, heart rate change, respiratory rate change, oxygen saturation, volume status of the patient and a good indicator if patient is going into shock. It can also be used as part of general checkup in patients with congestive heart failure. It can be used in debilitated patients, i.e. patients in ICU where it uses its parameters in determining volume and oxygen saturation and ambulatory patients, i.e. out patients. Hemodynamic machine is very important because it determines blood circulation, blood pressure, peripheral vascular physiology and cardiac functions of a patient. Use of the machine cost only Php 2,208.00
as compared to Php 2,688.00
in another hospital.

Fetal monitoring is by and large done electronically in birthing facilities. Electronic Fetal Monitors are used to detect and trace the fetal heart rate and uterine contractions.
These are usually monitored at the same time. However, each one can be obtained separately. In terms of electronic fetal monitoring, it is either external or internal.
Fetal monitoring is a valuable tool for measuring fetal well being of the fetus. Due to the sensitivity of the monitor, information gathered can be very useful in monitoring labor progress.

It allows visualization of liver, gall bladder, small bowel, large bowel, ovaries, fallopian tubes and even appendix, which gives the specialist room for intervention if the condition permits.Laparoscopic operation
, also called minimally invasive
surgery (MIS), bandaid surgery

A hysteroscope is an endoscope that carries optical and light channels or fibers. It is introduced in a sheath that provides an inflow and outflow channel for insufflation of the uterine cavity. In addition, an operative channel may be present to introduce scissors, graspers or biopsy instruments. A hysteroscopicresectoscope is similar to a transurethral resectoscope and allows entry of an electric loop to shave off tissue, for instance to eliminate a fibroid. A contact hysteroscope
is a hysteroscope that does not use distention media.

- OPTO AUTOMATED PERIMETER
is the systematic measurement of differential light sensitivity in the visual field
by the detection of the presence of test targets on a defined background. Visual field testing can be performed clinically with confrontational field testing keeping the subject’s gaze fixed while presenting objects at various places in their visual field. This is generally used to explore the extreme boundaries of the visual field. Perimetry more carefully maps and quantifies the visual field. Simple manual equipment can be used such as in the tangent screen test or the Amsler grid
. When dedicated machinery is used it is called a perimeter. Kinetic perimetry uses a mobile stimulus moved by a perimetrist such as in Goldmann kinetic perimetry. Kinetic perimetry is useful for mapping visual field sensitivity boundaries. Threshold static perimetry is generally done using automated equipment. It is used for rapid screening and follow up of diseases involving deficits such as scotomas
, loss of peripheral vision
and more subtle vision loss. Perimetry testing is important in the screening, diagnosing, and monitoring of various eye

The Department is committed to a mission of service to provide access to state-of-the-art imaging modalities. In *CT scan, *MRI, X-ray with Fluoroscopy, *Ultrasound and *Mammography to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of the various medical conditions.C-arm
is an imaging scanner intensifier, so named because of its configuration that has radiographic capabilities, though they are used primarily for fluoroscopic imaging during surgical, orthopedic, critical care, and emergency care procedures.Angiographic C-arm
has recently been used for vascular intervention because it can acquire images of the vascular anatomy and provide information about the surrounding soft tissues. The C-arm flat-panel angiography system provides multiplanar soft-tissue images as well as conventional planar angiograms from a single unit. C-arm fluoroscopy
takes an x-ray of a patient and displays it on a viewing screen, much like a TV. Spine surgeons
often use this device to help them locate structures within the spine and to help guide the placement of spinal instrumentation, such as pedicle screws. It is one of the oldest forms of diagnostic radiology used to examine the inner body. Every time the surgeon wants to see a new view of the spine (as an instrument is inserted into it, for example), he/she must take another x-ray. If the surgeon wants to see a view of the spine from another angle, the C-arm must be moved to that new angle and then another x-ray must be taken.
